Welcome back to another great year at Kiona-Benton City High School! We are excited to get this year off to an amazing start.

We want to welcome our freshman and new students to our mandatory Welcome to High School Orientation from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21. We are asking that families drop their students off at 4:15 p.m. at the front of the school and then plan to return to the school at 6 p.m. for a 30-minute presentation from our office staff about the upcoming year for both families and students. All freshman class schedules will be distributed during this meeting.

Returning students will be able to pick up their schedules on Friday, Aug. 23. We're asking seniors to stop in at 9 a.m., juniors at 9:30 a.m. and sophomores at 10 a.m. This will be their chance to pick up their schedules, pay for their ASB, choose a parking space (MUST have proof of current insurance, license and ownership) and ask any questions.

For fall sports - we will have our Fall Sports Clearance Night at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, in the school commons. Athletes will be able to pay fees, complete their FinalForms registration and hand in physicals. There will be a presentation by the Athletics Director and Secretary for Athletes for both athletes and their families.

Looking ahead - we will be taking school pictures from 7:30 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29. We plan to send order forms home with students before picture day.
