Opt-In to Receive Text Message Updates

Do you want to receive text messages about important school information and updates this year?  Kiona-Benton City School District is enhancing our school communication efforts through text messaging! Our schools utilize the SchoolMessenger system to deliver text messages straight to your mobile phone with important information about events, school closings, safety alerts and more.

You can participate in this free service* just by sending a text message of “Y” or “Yes” to our school’s short code number, 67587.

On Wednesday, August 17th, anyone who has a registered cell phone number with Kiona-Benton City School District will receive the following text from short code number 67587 requesting you to opt-in to continue receiving informational text messages from the district:

Kiona-Benton City School District text messages. Reply Y for aprx 3 msgs/mo. Txt HELP 4info. Msg&data rates may apply. See schoolmessenger.com/tm.

If you do not receive this text, please contact your student's school office to confirm that we have the most up-to-date contact information for you and your family.

You can also opt out of these messages at any time by simply replying to one of our messages with “Stop”.  We recommend saving this short code and Caller ID to the contacts on your phone. This will help prevent any 3rd party call blocking systems from interfering with your receipt of important messages sent by the school or district.
