Kiona-Benton City Elementary School Covenant
We, the students, parents, teachers, support staff and community members of Kiona-Benton Elementary School strive for high standards in academic achievement within a learning environment where all students are able to achieve their full potential. Basic academics: Reading, Communications, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Health, as well as problem solving and critical thinking will be emphasized. In addition, we will integrate the Fine Arts, Technology and Physical Fitness into the educational experience.
To achieve Kiona-Benton Elementary School's high academic goals, we commit to working together. We will communicate regularly and clearly about progress and issues affecting students. As a learning community, we recognize our responsibility to support all children in pursuing high academic success.

- In the classroom - rules, school work
- At lunchtime - stay in my seat, listen to the story, clean up my area
- On the playground - touch no one in a bad way, use equipment (toys) correctly; obey adults; respond immediately to my bell to line up on time
MAKING IT RIGHT:
- To people - Say or write "I'm sorry."
- To property - Fix it up, if possible, or replace it
- Never doing it again
