The mission of the alternative school:
We the students of Sunset View Alternative High School believe that we have a second chance to be successful in school. We feel that we can achieve our individual and class goals by being positive, working together with respect and understanding of the diversity in our classroom, by being devoted to our goal of graduating from high school, and developing the skills needed to be successful beyond high school.
We believe that a safe and quiet environment, respect for teachers, students, and others will allow us to be committed to education, develop the ability to become life-long learners, and allow us to have fun throughout the learning process.
