Home-Link

Ki-Be Homelink
Welcome

Kiona-Benton HomeLink recognizes the vital role parents play in their child’s education. That is why we are excited to offer this great program to local families. HomeLink allows parents who choose to home school their children access to additional educational resources and support they otherwise may not have. We are proud to support parents who choose to educate their child at home.

Currently Ki-Be HomeLink serves Kindergarten-6th grade home school students. Although we are still in the beginning stages of development for our program, there are several ways we support local homeschool families. Ki-Be HomeLink offers:

  • Reimbursement up to $500 for learning supplies and activities (books, museum entrance fees, software, etc.) based on full time or part time status.
  • Enrollment of students kindergarten through 5th grade in online courses in math, reading, science, social studies (optional through the K-12 Online Program)
  • Assistance to parents in developing an individualized student learning plan with a certified teacher, and support in following up and adjusting home-based learning activities for their child.
  • Monthly field trips to local educational settings for home-based students (upon recommendation from the home school parents)
  • Diagnostic MAPS testing free of charge to the parent (optional)

We are ready and willing to assist you in any way that we can to ensure your child reaches his or her full educational potential. To enroll your child, contact Michelle King at 588-2137 mking@kibesd.org  or Joe Lloyd at 588-2077 jlloyd@kibesd.org.
