No Child Left Behind
The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) was enacted in January, 2002 by the U.S. Congress. The NCLB Act, among it’s many provisions, requires that all state and local school districts inform patrons of the district’s progress toward meeting federal and state student achievement goals through a local “Report Card”.
Kiona-Benton City School’s progress toward meeting those goals is reported in this publication. The information includes required demographic information, test results, comparisons and statistics related to the Federal and State mandates of NCLB.

WASL Test Scores
Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL) tests students at grades 4, 7 and 10 to measure student performance on the State’s Essential Academic Learning Requirements (EALRs) developed by the Washington Commission on Student Learning.
